food identity.

What is your food identity? What are your aversions? Likes…Dislikes? What are your food intolerances, allergies and sensitivities? You won’t be forced into eating foods you don’t enjoy or that make you uncomfortable. Enjoy food while nurturing and nourishing your body and overall wellness.

When you meet with me, we will review your food identity and find what energy fits you best. Review the sections below for more insight on your food identity.

Allergens/Sensitivities.

With hundreds, even thousands of substances we are allergic to, it is important to know what your allergens are to keep you safe and your body pure. Various allergies expose themselves with one or many reactions. Some substances do not cause an allergic reaction but our bodies are ‘sensitive’ to them. They can cause other symptoms that make us uncomfortable. When identifying your allergies and/or food sensitivities, please specify the intolerance/allergen/sensitivity and type of reaction. Some examples of food intolerances/allergies/sensitivities are, but not limited to:

  • Gluten

  • Citrus Foods

  • Tomatoes

  • Peanuts, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, etc.

  • Lactose

  • Shellfish

  • Greasy, Salty, Sweet

Aversions.

Food Aversions consist of the foods you do not want to eat because of the taste, texture, potency of a certain flavor, color, consistency. It is okay not to eat the things we absolutely don’t like and eat more of the things we absolutely love. Some examples of food aversions are:

  • Salt

  • Pepper/Spicey

  • Sweet

  • Bitter

  • Sour

  • Tangy

  • Consistency (Slimy, Crunchy, Gelatinous, Lumpy, Greasy, Dry)

  • Smell

A few of your favorite things.

Everything you love, like, and dislike matters. We will identify your favorite nutritious foods and be sure to incorporate them in your meal plans, so every day, and ideally every meal, feels like a treat meal!
